Written Proof?
Are you keeping good records showing that your equipment is set up and working properly? Are you showing that your equipment rental has been earned? Here are some areas to focus on in your documentation:
  • Include initial equipment calculations in your job file. This shows that you have followed the IICRC recommended formula.
  • Provide records of drying conditions that show specific humidity (GPP) of the affected area and dehu output over time. Plotting the “spike” in RH is proof that your drying system is working
  • Show estimated pint removal for dehumidifiers
  • Don’t forget to take moisture readings on negative pressure systems, such as the DriForce® InterAir Drying System, to show that they are working.
